I bought the Fallout 3 Collector's edition a while ago. Now I have $30 to spend and was torn on what to do. I really want Broken Steel, because it improves the life of the game. But, I really like the ideas of The Pitt and PointLookout. The main question is, do i buy the DLC's indivudally, or wait till the GOTY edition comes out. It would be convient to get all the DLC on one disk, but then what would I do with the copy I have now? opnions, thoughts?

Just buy the DLC... no need to rebuy the game.

Get Broken Steel first for the level cap increase.

I also bought the collector's edition and would like the add-ons. I don't want the downloadable versions. I want the hard copies. I'm just going to suck it up and buy the GOTY edition as well. I'll wait for the price to drop until I purchase them.

yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking, but I'm still not that sure if I want to wait 6 months for the price to go down.

Remember that as everything is controlled via X-box live now that you may have to log into your account so that the content is "active" (unless they do something to the authentication code). Hopefully they will do something as its a pain to have to be connected to the internet to play the additional content.

I wish MS would just get with the program and integrate the DLC with existing digital distribution services rather than forcing us to use their convoluted system.

Just buy the DLCs. I have all of them except for Point Lookout, and I heard there is another one coming out soon called Mothership Zeta or something.

What theres a DLC that you have to PAY FOR that increases the level cap? lol there's cheats that can do that, last time I played my character was in the 40s.
