who thought it would? the only console that could come even remotely close to controlling a total war game well is the wii...but that doesn't have the grunt. however i do dream of seeing a pikmin total war one day. the traditional controller would be a disaster with the game...they struggle with the most basic of AOE clones. the series was built for the PC with PC controls in mind.....getting it on current consoles would be impossible without fundimentally changing the game.

I don't really know how you could create a total war on a console and still compare to the PC version in the slightest.

1.) Stormrise is a horrible RTS and shouldn't be used in any "Consoles can do RTS well" 2.) Having played Halo's RTS, I quite liked it, but I'd have preferred it to be a PC game where I'd have been able to enjoy it at 5760x1080. But, on topic, a console wouldn't be capable of a total war game, unless majorly scaled down to say, 5 units per group lol. Consoles have limited VRAM for textures etc for a start.

I thought SEGA and CA had already made a console-specific Total War game called Sparta: Total Warrior or somesuch

wtf why did u switch around so much :shock: should have just crossfired 2 5870 instead of buying 2 5770 and then a 5850!

Paypal messed up and I wound up it debt, after selling the 5870 to pay off the debt, I have no GFX card except my brothers ATI 3850, which could display only on one of my 3 22" monitors. I bought into the 5770 hype and bought a 5770 crossfire, it was brilliant at 1920x1080, eyefinity, it sucked. Sold them, and lost 25 pound bought an Asus 5850 for 15 less than I sold the 5770's for. I'm buying a second, and also possibly a third 5850 in March, as even 5 FPS makes a difference at my resolution.
