Transfering Files frop Laptop to PC ! what's the fastest way ? USB 3 or Lan

should I connect my laptop to pc with a cable or should I use a USB 3.0 to transfer data to desktop ?

LAN is still faster than USB3.0, and I would personally say more STABLE.

USB speeds sometimes fluctuate up and down, LAN does too but not as much.

But, as another poster said, USB is easier since you don't need network knowledge or sharing.

Lan is up to 1000Mb/s, USB3 is up to 5000Mb/s, but chances are the hard drives won't use 1000Mb/s anyway, so lan would be faster since you only have to copy once.

LAN isn't far easier than plugging in. You and I know about Networking so to us it's a piece of cake....but it's not the same for everyone.
