Tricky question.. smart people look here!

ok.. so i have my comp hooked up to my 40" LED samsung, i want to use auto motion plus but i cant...

1) can Ati graphics cards supports 120hz output (max i can do is 60hz, its the last option on the list)

2)can you force it to 120hz?

3) could the fact that im connected through DVI to HDMI be the reason im not getting auto motion plus? because my ps3 hooked through HDMI does it fine..

any help would be awesome, thanks!

your cabling wont change anything.. id say its your hdmi drivers that need updating.. what gpu are you using amd issues the hdmi drivers seperate so there isnt confliction with the dvi- (that can be avoided)

basically its just an installer you run it restart.. bam have fun.. basically its jsut a hotfix for the HDMi i had to do it for my 4850 to get everything to work with it too.

what OS are your running?

Auto Motion Plus can screw up the picture depending on how you like your image, but to get the HDMI audio drivers, get the latest Catalyst drivers and choose custom install and make sure the HDMI driver is ticked or grayed out if you have already have it installed.

basically i was going to get you to do this.. id go with the 10.9 drivers as they were the most stable and 10.10 onward is for 5000 and 6000 series gpu's

i feel like i should mention that when i switch the ID for this source to 'game' not 'pc'... i get auto motion plus... but the picture is extended beyond the borders of my screen.. and everything seems like.. so vibrant the text is like... uber bright and kinda breaking up... like someone would draw a 'B" and keeps lifting the pencil so its darker and lighter in areasRenzokucant

id probably adjust resolution then.. and see if there are any PROPER drivers for your tv (yes tv's have drivers)

Go into the Catalyst app in your system tray and find the option for you screen and scaling options. Adjust them.

So problem solved?

OK got it!!! it was the overscan option... :) i feel like my text is extra vibrant right now... but i think its because my text is white and background black,. ima try some different sites.Renzokucant
