Stronghold Crusader Extreme is basically the same game as Stronghold Crusader, with an added "extreme" difficulty setting, and a few minor updates. You can check the gamespot review for details. I'd highly recommend Stronghold: Crusader, it's a great RTS game. However, you might find certain aspects of the game limiting if you compare it with other RTSs like AOE, Warcraft, etc. I played the Tropico demo long ago. it is more of like Simcity than RTS games.
