Ok here's the thing i've had this computer thats getting kinda old already and it broke twice already and we are gonna get the money for it now, its about 1200 euros. Ok , now relies the big doubt, this friend of mine made me this pc configuration on a site called ATELCO, its german,(if anyone here knows the website plz reply and tell me if its good, u kno, not only the prices, but also costumer service, etc.). Ok here's the pc configuration he made for me:

-CPU:Intel Core i7-920 Box 8192Kb, LGA1366 about 2.66 GB in each core.

-Motherboard:MSI X58 Platinum, Intel X58, ATX, DDR3, LGA1366

-RAM memory:3GB Triple-Kit OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 Platinum Low-Voltage

-Case:A+Case El Diablo schwarz ATX ohne Netzteil

-Power supply:Corsair TX850W 850 Watt

-Graphic's card:XFX GeForce 9800GTX+ 775M, 512MB DDR3, PCI-Express

-Hard-drive:WD Caviar GP 1TB WD10EACS SATA II WD10EACS

-DVD-Writer:NEC Opti AD7201S bulk schwarz

-Sound card:Creative SoundBlaster Audigy SE

All this for 1248 euros.

And that's about it, im very happy about this config but i wanna know the opinion of pc gaming extremists (lol). If anyone think's there's a flaw in this config plz tell me what it is. And if anyone can make a better one for same orçament plz tell me.

You can do much better than the 9800 gtx.......also 1 TB isnt necesary. I would get a 500 GB Hard Drive and either a 4870x2 or GTX 260 Core 216's in SLI. Also what OS will it be running? Also today, onboard sound more than suffices unless you are an audiophile. If you aren't, ditch the soundcard.

If there's a thing i cannot ditch it's the sound card (my brother is a music producer and needs something good, and besides, the price of it aint that high.) though i could ditch the terabyte HDD and get a bigger external hard-drive (i fill much space in very low time). If so what do u advise me?

a sound blaster ? Creative SoundBlaster Audigy SE it so old ?! why doesn't you get a X-FI IT FAR FAR Superior into creation and if he want to do professional music production why doesn't he get the auzentech X-FI preludes it even more professional or the Asus Xonar
if the pc serve as multitasking else then gaming of course you should aim a 920
but you know what is bad is it so expensive in europe comapre to north america : north america a decent Core i7 Setup is 250$ for the cpu
300$ the motherboard almost : 250$ : G-skill 3X2GB 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 (best cas latency avaible for this kit size on newegg.com) but is Rival would be if kingston hyper x is sold on it And Beside if you can get a 1TB hard Drive Look if you can get a Seagate instead of Western Digital It better
And well if you want good gaming optimal gaming Sli 260GTX or 4870x2 then you play on a 1080P monitor and it a beast i do own a similary setup ;)
just need to overclock to catch up on Core i7 920 overclocked

Besides, i dont think i should ditch the i7, though its only a basic pack it may be one of the small family of cpu's that might last more than 2 years playing the newest games in good performance.

you shouldn't read my post but if you do want good lifetime on the core i7 well id say put some thermal paste right guy ?! and get a Good heatsink cooler for nice overclock and beside for motherboard look if you can get the Asus P6T it win in all round against msi according anandtech http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3471&p=5

it make a differance beetween reach perfection 60fps + or almost perfection . 59fps in gaming benchmark
