Trying to either buy a pc or build a rig...

And I want it to be like 800 max, and i just went through and build one on newegg that was 922, but im sure you all could come up with something cheaper thats still good. I'm looking to play modern games on high settings, a gaming rig, thats not too pricey.

I recommend building your own,that prebuilt you posted isn't good,6450 isn't intended for gaming,would struggle a lot with latest games.Its also unbalanced,I7 2600 which is a very strong processor paired with an entry level card...

3) Do you need a copy of Windows?
4) Do you need keyboard, mouse and speakers?

have you heard of ibuypower? they'll build you a custom rig on their website, only heard good stuff about them

building your own isn't that hard, but if you're uncomfortable about it small computer shops will often build it for you for a small price ($50-$100 ish, sometimes even free if you order alll the parts through them)

have you done this before ! i strongly recommend building your own , check you tube for few videos on how to put a computer together , and make sure that all the parts you buy especially motherboard & cpu are compatible (same socket number exp;lg1155) good luck.

It may take some time your first time doing it but there are helpful guides that are stickied here for your reference and also youtube videos that will help you out. hard drives are ridiculously over priced right now so either use an old one or buy the cheapest one you can find

antec/corsair/ocz/seasonic 600 watt powersupply

radeon 6870/geforce 460 gtx graphics card

windows 7 home premium 64 bit version

kb/mouse

total cost should be around $800
