trying to find mid to late 90's early 2000's fps or strategy games.....

anyone have any suggestions? and not just the big games anyone have any games that might not have been quite as popular but still good?

For TBS you have Disciples, Heroes of Might and Mgic 3, Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, and Alpha Centauri. One could argue this was actually the best time for such games.

You should check out Good Old Games. The site is literally a goldmine for old games and my DD service of choice.

If you can get it, the RTS Theocracy is very good but I have never met anyone else who has played it so you likely won't be able to find it:P. A very, very underrated game.

As for FPS, I was always a fan of all the games that were basiclly copies of Duke Nukem. Shadow warrior, NAM, WWII GI. Also Unreal and Quake 2.

Deus Ex is a classic fps game. Also, try Darwinia. It's a very unique strategy game.
