Just finished FF VII (again).
Any suggestions?

FF VIII, Breath of Fire 4, Septera Core, and Last Remnant. That's all I can think of on the top of my head.
I second king's bounty[QUOTE="adamosmaki"][QUOTE="TheCrazed420"]Kings Bounty?RyuRanVII
King's Bounty was the 2008 GOTY in my opinion. It took me one month to finish with all the quests completed. I car hardly wait for the expansion!
I was torn between the world ends with you and king's bounty, but it's certainly the PC GOTY IMO. One of the best RPG's I've played in years, it's just so addictive and fun.Kings Bounty?TheCrazed420Do you mean King's Bounty which released WAY back in 1990? Or are you talking about King's Bounty: The Legend that released in 2008?

Is very addictive game and i played it for 15-20 hours and i'm still in the first area of the game ( i just reached freedom islands)Try Fallout 1 or 2 from GoG. A word of warning however, these games are quite different from jrpgs in that enemies don't stand in a line. It is closer to Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire Emblem but is very open and focuses more on interaction and choices to tell a story instead of it being fed to you on one line. Some people like this and some don't, I personally love it. If you like these kind of games then try Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 (these are real time out of the box but with minor tweaking in the options it can be made turn based).
RPGs:
Fallout 1 & 2
Arcanum
Temple of Elemental Evil
Wizardry series (there are a lot of games there)
Tactical RPGs:
Jagged Alliance 1 & 2
X-COM: Enemy Unknown
X-COM: Terror from the Deep
Gorky 17
To name a few.
yes there is ff11 in fact was dual released on ps2 and pc at once i own ff11 + all its expansions for pc (including wings of the goddess)
Is FF11 turned based? And can you play the game fully, or at all offline? I think the OP was asking about old school turned based RPGs (even if they are newer games).

nope its online 100% man however a large chunk of the game can be done solo (if you dont mind alot of lonely playing as the leveling system is slow at best)
