ok i bought my computer at sams club because it seemed like a good deal, but the problem is it doesnt have any graphics card so i plan on buying this one

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150229

it already has

2g ddr2 ram

320g hard disk

amd athlon 64 x2 dual core 4600+ 2.40 ghz

im not looking to play crysis on high, probably not at all, but i want to be able to play unreal tourney 3 and some other games, how will they play and will i neeed any other upgrades?

also if you think that isnt a great card for the price im open for suggestions.

thanks./

I'm guessing your computer has a 300W PSU right? then HD 2600XT is your friend, better value than 8600GT IMO.

if you are getting it from newegg, make sure you send in the mail-in rebate for it, that'll definitely make it worth the price. Also.. check your psu to see if it meets the requirements of the new card, don't wanna burn the thing out by not giving it enough juice to run. You shouldn't have a problem running most newer games on medium/high (except crysis of course).

I'll take an 8600GT over a 2600XT everytime, personally. Not that I'm biased or anything... but yeah, that 8600 will do the trick. $100 bucks for an 8600GT = :)

I bet he'll set you up with a Rosewill or some PSU that's likely even crappier than your current one, just get HD 2600XT or 8600GT.
