Two gaming Laptops for 799.... which one would you think is better?

Im having a really hard time deciding. Both look like great computer for my budget>..

Is it the more the Lithium cells the long it will run without it pluged into the wall and also will when it says HDMI input does that mean I can hook my HDTV to my laptop as a 2nd monitor>? SOrry if this is a stupid question but im sorda new to the laptop idea
