two GTX 260 core 216 in SLI or one GTX 280?

what the topic says...im confused and havent really found any performance on 2 gtx 260 cores 216's and would like to know from people who do own these two cards. is it worth getting over one 280? thanks in advance!

Get they new GTX 260 that has more cores,,,it performs nearly as well and the GTX 280!

TWo 260GTX 216 core is Kick ass Setup but what ur motherboard ? 780i ? or 790i

Ahhhhhh yes, good point!

Have you done any testing? I never noticed any "microstuttering" on my GTX260 sli setup. Nice performance, btw.

thanks for the response guys! i think id go for the two 260s because i have the 780i board. ill let you guys know how the two 260 216 cores are when i get em! thanks again!
