It's playable. It's different than oblivion, you should try the demo to see if you like it

The voice acting is hillarious. The main dude says some of the funniest crap I've ever heard in a game. He actually sings "It's raining, it's pouring. The Old Mang is snoring" when it rains

It's really funny when he laughs after killing someone or some thing. It's even more funny when he says, "That's what you get" after killing

I was reading some preview about the next game and the questioner said that the character from the first game was "such an incredible jerk". Too bad the voice actor won't be used in the next game.

Oh yeah, the game is quite playable.

even if the game ran with the looks it has at 120 fps locked on any computer, it still deserves a 1.0 because of all the stupid stuff that went wrong with that game. voice acting is just the start, everything looks like it's made of flat paper or something, combat is as boring as any mmo combat system, enemies are lame, controls are clumsy, i just want reasons to hate it.

If by playable you mean not that buggy, then yes. In case you guys didn't know, though, there were no voice actors, it was all done by the developers themselves. It's an OK game. It excels in two things: variety of locale, and the magic/alchemy system. Oblivion had 3 types of areas (although still a great game). The magic/alchemy system was actually pretty cool, it was doing something different than I had seen. But it's worth 10 bucks, tops. I did almost all of the available quests in 30 hours.

It's a good game, I've played the steam version and it was not bad at all. It's got good character development, a decent story line and is pretty immerse. I never once had a drop to desktop or freeze with the steam version. All in all it's not a waste of cash or time, the current version is fun, fairly deep and entertaining...and $19.99.
