They will probably just keep making Assassin's Creed games until they die out. I would consider games like Anno 2070 or Rayman to be considered AAA titles since they probably have a budget much mroe limited than a game like Assassin's Creed
They kinda do... right now, don't they? Aside from Assassin's Creed series, I don't care for most of their titles. Splinter Cell isn't as great as they once were, although Conviction was decent. The Assassin's Creed games were becoming stale.. and I'm glad they took the new direction with AC3.

Thank God. Worst big company on the market. I thought Electronic Arts will be my number one enemy but Ubisoft beat them with theiors thrash games. They did the same strategy like EA. First created a big game(Need For Speed, Fifa - Farcry, Splinter Cell), then they proceed to kill the brand and earn as much money as they can until people notice they are thrash. The games like Assasins Creed 8 and Farcry 9 have great advertising and they are fun maybe for 1 hour thats all. After that gamers notice that its ctrl+c ctrl+v level with respawns and same gameplay to the end.

There is only so much you can do with sequels, but that's the idea of a sequel. Add some things, change others and move the story forward. Nothing wrong with that. They then created new IPs as they go as well.

Yes they are only the owners of those studios developing the Anno series these days, the owners of the studios can't possibly be the ones making these games, it's the magical unicorn that gets sponsored by Ubisoft. There's nothing worse than a delusional hater and a wannabe Ubisoft game player (AKA somebody that wants to give the impression they actually touched an Ubisoft game and they're no just joining in on the hate fun blindly), not even delusional EA haters.
Most of these huge companies in order to survive now will get into ipad games..Cell phone games..They make these 2 dollar games than they sell coin for bucks..Myself ill only buy the base game..Most people will buy the coin but not me..There wasting to much cash in these huge aaa games..The market is dwindling now because of the econemy..Either that or companies are just rehashing now an people are getting sick of it..Take a look at cod now..Its a john madden game with guns..If these companies would innovate an make decent great ips maybe they would sell..There afraid to though its sad..
honestly IMO Ubisoft is one of the only devs on the market still pushing games in new directions.... i dont see how anyone could hate the AC series, they are amazing games. i find myself really looking forward to october/november each year because i know ill be able to sit down with a new AC game until around christmas.
God forbid game developers try to make a game using their money efficiently. I mean, what are we going to do without all the games trying to copy big-budget Hollywood? We need to find how Desmond is actually God in Assassins Creed XII!

That's your personal opinion. Ubisoft has not made any good game for years. All they do now is take good game series and destroy them (Prince of persia 2008, Myst 5, Far Cry 2).

Actually it is my personal opinion, but the Assassins Creed Series has gotten great reviews everywhere you look...so.....
