Unable to log into Steam

I recently bought an account off ebay that came with 9 steam games. He sent me the account name and password. When i receaved this i changed the password. After about 5 days of being able to play it now says "login to steam failed the password is inccorect" Is it possible he used the secret question thing to get my password. Or could it be that steam is not working at the moment. Do you think its worth emailing the seller or just wait for a day or so?

Maybe caps lock was on when you typed your password.

Maybe he clicked forgot password and it just sent it straight to his e-mail..

Steam works for me, so it sounds like you may have gotten scammed. I'd try contacting him over the next couple days and if the account still isn't working by then and he's hasn't gotten back to you then I'd file a complaint with PayPal.

Dude, never I say, NEVER buy an account of EBay, like WoW, Guild Wars and Steam.

Is your firewall or IP filtering software blocking it?

Did you change the email address and user details for the account?

Why did you buy an account off Ebay?

Shouldn't have bought it off ebay.
