I can't say whose fault it is. I go on STEAM and can't get pings any lower than 500plus except COD 2 and it's pings are high too. It use to be I could play a great number of multiplayer FPS games online but not anymore. Only one now. The change came all of a sudden. A few months ago. Now I don't think it is such a good idea to invest in games that don't support their online play after just a few months. I don't buy a game just for the single play. It would be over too soon and there would be little sense of community like multiplayer. I hope this cheap trend ends right away. It is a dumb move ....as usual...by management.

What security apps do you have, and how are they configured? Your firewall might be messing things up.
