UNITE AND CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNTS! Don't Let Gamespot and CNET Violate Rights!

Hey guys,

I'm a big fan of the freedom of speech; therefore, I implore all of you to cancel your gamespot accounts in protest of the recent attack on J. Gerstman's freedom of speech. I will be cancelling my account as soon as I am done posting this thread all over the forums. Vote with your actions. Let the suits at CNET know that this will not go unnoticed. We come to these sites to get honest opinions on video games, not the publishers' (I'm looing at you Eidos) opinions on their video games. Thanks for your time, hope someone gets in here before the lock.

Gamespot didn't fire him, CNET did.

Funny thing is, Eidos probably killed all their own sales by pulling this stunt off.

Had they let the review slide, it would've gone unnoticed and they would've racked up more sales then what's coming to them now.

Lol, "I'd rather have sex with my dog...", It's truly amazing, Jeff had alot more power than the company gave him credit for. Maybe losing Rich is possible, but Jeff? Whats gamespot without Jeff? the answer - a pile of crap.

Gamespot's reviews have been crap recently, Ratchet and Clank anyone? All of their 360 games get scores way above what they deserve, and they snub the PSP often. I'm glad he stodd up for what he believed, even though he's done less than that in previous reviews.

I think I'll stick with my account.
