Hi I was wondering if my MCP6P M2+ mobo is able to unlock a sempron 140 cpu? If so, how?

i can't find anywhere that your motherboard supports ACC(Advanced Clock Calibration), which means it isn't capable of unlocking a core.

I read the BIOS manual, and I couldn't find the option. You'd be looking for an option such as ACC. My brother owns the exact same motherboard, and it doesn't have it.

Do you have one? IMO, core unlocking on low end AMDs is pointless, it's like $10 more for an Athlon II.

lol yeah. the sad thing was is that I didn't have the ten extra dollars and I had to rely on my sister buying a flash drive so I could get the free shipping. :(
