Unreal tournament 3-- predicted GS score?

Just wondering what fellow PC gamers thing UT3 will score at GS. I'm super looking forward to it. Pre-ordered the collectors edition a month ago. The UT series is BY FAR my favorite, out of any FPS series.

I'd say 9.0 from GS though. I'm hoping for a 9.5.

What do you guys predict the score will be?

Well the series hasn't let anyone down yet. Each game has been very addicting, and could be played for hundreds of hours and never get old. The last installment is still one of my favorite shooters I have ever played, I lost a lot of Call of Duty time due to overplaying Ut 2004 so much.:D

I would say that If it keeps up the same addicting multiplayer gameplay and craziness, it will get a 9.5 easy.

It's going to the most complete game for it's multiplayer's ease of use, and options.

Let's not forget... they implimented a FULL single player campaign unlike Ut2004's campaign, this one will actually have a STORYline to it.

It is going to be THE most complete FPS in a long time.

Gamespot underrates PC games usully, so I'll say 9.0mfsa

Yeah exactly what I'm thinking. I'm guessing it'll be deserving of a 9.5 at least but GameSpot will find some way to bash on it and give it a 9. Which isn't a bad score but...

so many shooters....dont like the bunny hopping but, the game looks nice as far as visuals. I 'll stick to cod 4

i would say it's the best UT yet, and i've only played the demo.

Indeed. UT2004 is perfect the way it is. There's no real reason to change anything for UT3 but to revamp it for a new audience.

10 is impossible at gamespot

8.5 is not doing justice to UT3 (judging from the demo)

Gamespot can be rather critical and rate lower than expected, but it's Unreal so it will be at least 9 regardless of how good the game is.

Half Life, Unreal, COD and all the other big budget titles will always get a good score from GS and other reviewers as the games are more often then not quility and someone has to pay for advertising space:)

The biggest addition to UT3 is the Warfare gametype, which isn't even included in the demo. According to Epic, the reason behind its exclusion in the demo was something along the lines of a single Warfare map not being able to represent the gametype as a whole.

Also, certain VCTF/Warfare maps in retail are going to have degrees of asymmetry. There's two completely different sets of vehicles for each team on some maps, for example (the Necris and Axon vehicle sets are distinctly different.) We didn't get to see any of that in the demo either though.

I am guessing an 8.0-8.5, depends on if they think the changed movment mechanics are a step backwards or not along with the new game mode(s). To me, the demo seems to be just a new coat of paint with the exception of the movement being changed back to the earlier style.

For the record UT2k4 is my favorite game of all time and I have high hopes for the full version of the game.
