The cover looks just like the BFBC2 cover image, which is kind of weird. Maybe it will be more like BC2 than we think. BC2 was fun, but it just wasn't the main games. I have a feeling that they are still going after consolites. As long as it has DX11 to really work my 6870 then I will be OK.

I thought bc2 was a great game, it was just a disappointment for the battlefield series

I am really hoping that Battlefield 3 will completely dethrone the CoD series in terms of sales and such. BF3 really is shaping up to become a great, or probably become the best FPS of the generation. That is, if everything they've been saying is being delivered in the final release. But still can't wait for the beta to come out soon.

^Sales will be hard, needs more marketing to achieve COD.

But this game has my sale.=p

Totally excited for this. All the little bits of info are great so far. Now give us dedicated servers (which it will have for sure if even BC2 has them) and mod tools, and I can die happy.

Hope it doesnt turn into a grenade-fest like in bf2. Bc2 did it just right where it would take around 7-10secs for your grenade to respawn while standing on top of ammo box. Other than that.......SQEEEEEEEEEEEE

But seriously, is it really hard to enjoy both CoD and BF? I have both games and love BOTH of them. Don't fool yourselves. FPS's are like ice cream. Sure they come in different flavours (vanilla, chocolate...) but they are still the same thing.

for me, it's been extremely hard to enjoy any CoD (or Quake or Unreal for that matter) title since Battlefield 1942.

BF is just my kind of shooter. everything else feels boring and simple compared to it. i haven't played ARMAs, but they might be ok too.

I'm pretty sure that the jet from the teaser is a Sukhoi SU-30 MK IV or SU-34:

Has the same LERX, canards before the wing roots, two big, separated engine exhaust at the tail with a long, rounded dome with counter measures between them and big horizontal stabilizators.

I can't wait for this, Although I thought the Battlefield Bad Company games where good games by themselves I didnt really get the same feeling from BF2 and BF1942 hopefully this will be more like the classic Battlefields.
