So I've done quite a lot to get AC4 to run faster on my computer. My system specs are:

- Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @2.50GHz

- nVidia Geforce GT 630M 1GB (Updated to 331.58)

I have set all of my graphics options in-game to lowest or off (anti-aliasing is on). I do know that Ubisoft doesn't treat PC gamers the same way as console gamers (for obvious reasons) so the game's performance is probably not the best. Any help?

Try this.

Scroll down about half way to find your settings. Hope it helps.

Thank you. Something else that I tried after posting this thread was downloading something called Razer Game Booster, and it helps lots. It also organizes all of my games. I recommend this program to any PC gamer as it is just pure awesome.

You should turn off anti-aliasing. You will always notice the biggest difference with that option. You should have it off and have everything else on high. It will perform alot better along with having much better graphics. Anti-aliasing is one of the most demanding processing part. Also, razer booster or any game boosting program is a joke. You should manually shutdown whatever is processing in the background instead. But I guess it's understandable to use such program for casual users.

Ultimately though, it should be the other way around for your options. Anti-aliasing should be the one off and everything else on high. Graphics will look much nicer and perform helluva a lot better. Or if there is a option for x2/x4/x8 for anti aliasing, try have it set on x2 with everything else on high and see how it goes.

Don't expect to make the game run well at any settings bar low resolutions.

A 630m is hardly a performance card.

If, after using the Nvidia guide, you still have slow performance, post your RAM. If you have too low RAM, your machine will struggle.

Razer Game Booster is useless, and the reason AC4 is running slow is because that card isn't strong enough for it.

in fact any game booster is next to useless. When a game is running at low fps you either have a low end Gpu and/or Cpu or a faulty gpu . End of story. No game booster will make a gt630m fast enough to play AC BF. The only think you can do to boost frames is to overclock

There were a couple of people who had performance issues while playing the game on high end rigs. But anyway I think its time that you dump your laptop and get a 700$ mid-range rig if not a 1000$ high end beast.
