Hey guys,
I have some questions i would like to ask i need to figure out if i should upgrade this computer that was made in 2007.Or build a completly new one.
The main purpose i want to upgrade is so i can play WoW again(i use to but quit when my computer was still fast).I could never play on anything but low specs and would always lagg in big parts of the game(major citys and loading the raids and stuff)
So i will list some specs for you guys so you can see what kind of computer i have.
Specs:
I am running Windows Vista Home basic(32 Bit).Version 6.0.6000 Build 6000

Dell,Inspiron 531S

Processor:AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 3800+ 2.00 GHz

958 MB Ram
Graphics Card:NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 [Display adapter]

well, if your only going to play wow just bump up the ram big time.. Vista's a memory hog. and get a better video card. should run awesome then. Id recommend the HIS 4670 Iceq. Doesn't tank a lot of juice from the psu at all so you wouldn't need to upgrade your psu.. probably.

If it is only to play WoW, then you can probably get away with upgrading your current. Here is what you will need: Atleast 1 more gig of RAM, but two might be better, buy 2 sticks if you feel you need it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145525 A better graphics card, since your case is slim and the powersupply isn't very good, you are stuck with a lower end card, but it should play WoW perfectly: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150484
