My pc Specs at the moment are:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64, 2000mhz (10x200) 3200+

Motherboard: MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R (MS-6702) (5PCI, 1AGP, 3 DIMM)

System Memory: 1024 MB (DDR SDRAM)

Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 6600 LE (256mb)

I dunno what else to add to the specs...but all i can really ask is what should i upgrade and what's the best graphics card upgrade i can possibly get for this heap of junk in order for it to run todays games such as oblivion without totally owning the cpu?...

thanks for reading :)

I had that rig for abit before selling it around 3 weeks ago. Id give up on that and get a new one.

What sort of budget have you got for a new one?

Yer I think you will have to start again. Obviously you can salvage optical drives and maybe a harddrive and ofcourse the case and fans, which will save you some money atleast.

i just checked and your mobo doesn't support amd x2' so i'd just get a new agp card in your price range http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2000380048%201069609639&page=1&bop=And&Order=PRICED then maybe get another matching stick of ram and then you can build a new system next year
