Ok here is my current setup. Intel Core 2 Duo E6420.......Raid 0 with Seagate 320gb and seagate 80gb HDD..............Msi P6n platinum........xtreme fidelity soundblaster.......2.5 gb ddr2 RAM 800mhz G.Skill pc 6400............and.......EVGA 7900gt 256mb (i know old) I am really looking forward to play Bioshock on max settings with no stuttering what so ever. So do you think the only thing that is holding me back is the graphics card. By the way I am duo booting XP and Vista.

Thanks in Advance!!!:)

From what I've read, and 8600GTS is sufficiently capable of maxing out BioShock.

The 8800 GTS is a really good card, but your video card isnt bad. I think the 7900 GT can play bioshock at pretty high settings.

I'm not sure an upgrade is worth it yet. Its really not that old.

The 7900GT is good enough to handle Bioshock maxed out in DX9.

Overall that's a nice build - but why 2.5GBs of RAM? You might as well go for the full 3GBs..

Yeah, no reason to upgrade yet. Save your money for the next gen cards.
