Is it worth it to upgrade from Xp to Vista? I know my computer will run it, but just don't know.

if i were u i would stick with XP because if u dont have enought ram for vista its gonna suck plus why vista? :S lol

well yes u would need 4gb of ram to runnning it smoothly and vista isnt that bad i stuck with xp because im not attracted to vista yet i probbably will be sooner or later when i decide to upgrade my cpu

It's not a bad OS like many people think - they're just pampered by the overly long lifetime XP had. Hell, half the people here probably never even built a computer before XP, and don't remember all the problems it had at launch including serious security issues and yes, hogging lots of memory. Sounds pretty familiar, right?

However, I'd want to know why you want to upgrade. If you're asking this question there's probably no point in upgrading to be quite honest, it's just a waste of money, especially if Windows 7 really is coming next year.

only if you have a dx10 card. I have to say that I really do like vista, especially the cool window colors and the games
