Upgrading hardware but is it worth it?

Right now im running a M2N68-LA mobo with phenom 9500 quad core 2.20 ghz 3 gigs of ram 9800 gtx oc vista 32 and L227wtg and im lagging most games on low settings on native resolutions. Will upgrading my vid card fix that or should i save cash for a new pc. 200 dollar price range is what im hoping on vid card as well if anyone has any suggestions

The 4890 looks like a good card, but I don't know a ton about video cards...

Ya i know a bit about cards but im just worried that my mobo or lack of ram is causing my lag issues over the vid card. i mean my montior is running native at 1600x1050

bumping again i was thinking 260 but is mobo my bottleneck or is it my card or ram?

Overclock the processor maybe. You shouldn't be lagging with a 9800GTX.

yeah i dont understand it. everygame i play lags or glitches. from dragonage to borderlands and so on i get spikes and turning down all my settings in native resolution still shows them. perhaps its time for a reinstall

What games? Your CPU is kind of a weak link since its clocked low, and most games won't support beyond two cores. Does going from low settings to high settings change your frame rate much? If it doesn't it means you have a CPU bottleneck.
