I'm going to buy a new card but my power supply is only 300W. I plan to buy a 400W power supply, is that all I do? Buy it, take out the old one, put in the new one, start up the PC. Or do I need the right motherboard or something

1- u wont need anything at that case just plug. 2-dnt get the 7300GT get the 7600GT (HUGE HUGE PERFORMACE DIFFERENCE). 3-if ur gonna get the 7600 gt get a psu with 450 and above watt. make sure u have more than 21 amps on the 12v. 4-ama shoot u in da head if u get the 7300GT, u can either get the 7600GT or wait untill the 8600GT card is released same price both.

find out if the motherboard has a 20 pin or 24 pin connector. 20, 20+4, or 24 pin psus will work w/a 24 pin mobo, but a 24pin psu wont work w/a 20 pin mobo. Also make sure (i'm sure it will, but still) comes with any other connectors for the mobo. I would think a 400-450W PSU would do it for ya w/a 7600GT..which I recommend over the 7300. Other than that it's just plug and play :)

He can get pretty much the same power supply for half the price. I prefer the Rosewill RP550-2. It's only $54.99, and it'll handle anything he can through at it.

YOu have an HP, no doubt about that. I need a bigger power supply too man, so I'll end up picking one up at compusa for about $50, maybe a high 400 watt one

-A 24 pin power supply will likely work, I saw the power supply in my HP.

-Get yourself an Nvidia 7600gs for about $100, its a good budget card. I got one, and I rid myself of the 7350le
