Coolermaster Stacker 380 Evolution FTW. Four fans on the side, one or two up front, one at the back, and one on top. This case has so many possibilities it's crazy, huge inside too. Newegg did a sale on these a few months back for around $100.00 too good to pass up. Honestly, I've never looked back after getting that case. I've seen the ARMOR, and it's "ok" but just not built as well as the CM-Stacker. Plus you get the pull out motherboard tray...it was just designed really well!
I have one, great case that has an excellent removable motherboard tray. Excellent cable management. It's VGA Fan is optional.... meaning you can buy it from the egg....it's a 140mm fan that fits into a holder that comes with the case. I would recommend that you get the fan and install it before you start installing everything else. Case and manual are super easy to work with !!!--Anna--
Hi Anna. Would you happen to have a link for that VGA fan? I didnt see an option to buy it. All my parts are arriving tonight so I would like to get that in there before I have my rig up and running. Thanks. :)

The pictures show it with a clear/white looking fan on the side of the case. So I guess that's just for advertising huh? :( You have the case so I trust you. I'll order it now. Thanks! :)
Btw, how many fans does it come with? Does it come with the 120mm for the back air flow?
Wow, this Thermaltake Armor+ Case is HUGE. When they said full-tower, they really meant it. Anna was right, I dont see a 140mm fan. Although, on newegg, it says it does come with one. Elann2008
what model did you get? 'cause im getting this one (thermaltake armor+ ESA VH6001 BWS Black Aluminum/steel/full tower) an it says that it has
1 - 120 mm fan
1 - 140mm fan
plus the one in the side door (230mm fan)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133068Good case, lots of room, ventilation, and good cable management (except that when you route cables behind the mobo tray, you can still see them through the back mesh... meh). The case weighs about half a ton, though. They used a lot of steel, and probably some lead to make the case.

I have the same one but it didnt come with a 140mm fan. :( It only comes with the 120mm and the 230mm fan attached to the side of the case. That's why Anna was telling us to get the 140mm separately because it doesnt come with one. Oh darn..!
Bummer, guess i'm going to order those fans then. :ohrah
Wait. It does come with a 140mm fan. It's hiding right between the harddrive bays. All of them are already installed for you. So you dont have to buy extra fans. There are three fans total. 120mm for the back, 140mm in the front, and 230mm on the side to cool your graphics cards. It's a HUGE fan too.
Sorry, I had to cut things short last night, had to go see "Dark Knight" ! Any how this is the case I have, note the fans that say optional:
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?S=1226&ID=1806#Tab0
Note: You don't have to install the VGA optional fan early-on, it's just easier. Cheers

I'm having the hardest time putting this build together. I dont have a clue as to where some of the connectors go. The wires that connect to the case. I'm going to try and boot this thing up but if it doesnt, Im going to take it to someone who knows how to do this... tired... need sleep... stayed up like 9 hours doing this.

Feeling like that's not unusual, get some sleep! Then, take a walk, eat a little. Don't worry !!! If, you have questions post here ..... you'll get help. I'll be here all this evening too. Just get some rest and clear your head for now. It will get better!!!stacker can't match mx+ obviously
better cooling more place less noise and i find it more sexy :) and easy managment for future water cooling & cable manamgent when you put all those wire >>

How do you figure it can't match ARMOR? More fans, it's open on both the fan side and the tray side for easy access? I understand we've all got preferences...ricers like neons on their cars etc., so if you like your case looking like a jukebox then yeah the ARMOR is for you. I personally prefer "clean"!
poor elann he drained up is mighty american bear power.!! only anna is here j/k girl are alway more energic. say study j/k
well what is about that 140mm thing ? he got a 120mm instaed / and a 140mm do better ? for money you must paid right?marcthpro
BTW, I posted it on another thread but........ENGLISH DUDE ENGLISH! And what is American bear power? Just curious, but I believe our mascot is an Eagle, would have been a turkey if Jefferson would have had his way. The closest I can get to an anology for this statement is the California state flag. Where are you from?

Wasn't it Ben Franklin that wanted the turkey as the national bird? Oh well.
Ease up on Marc there, I know he can sound a little jumbled up, but I am pretty sure English is not his first language. I realize it can be hard to fully understand all his posts, but just ignore them if they are that bad.
One more thing, the CM Stacker has the option of a cross blowing fan...CHECK IT OUT, great concept. Which then would also provide for even more room for water cooling.
I'd also suggest taking a serious second look at water cooling. Is it "neat" and "cool looking" yes, but most will tell you that there are other options that are almost as effective with none of the risk. Ultra has an air cooler that will cool below ambient temp and diffuses condensation so it doesn't get on your equipment. Do some more research on it, check out the true efficiency of water cooling vs. really good copper heat sinks and fans.
I'm big on tuning my comp. and my car, and both are VERY similar projects as a whole and in the details. Speed/power vs. heat...unfortunately most people forget the details, knowledge and keeping the project clean and efficient. As an STi fan I run into guys on the track all the time that are pushing out 100hp more than myself, but they never bothered researching suspension and finding the perfect balance between spring rate, dampening, corner balancing, and sway bars. Point being, don't get sucked into buying all of this water cooling stuff to see one of your clamps fail, or hoses bust and destroy $1k worth of equipment.
Know what you're getting into...also know the maintenance responsibilities of a water cooling system. This "no maintenance" water cooling stuff is garbage. You've just put a hydrolic cooling system with a radiator in your computer (electronics), water and electricity don't mix well. I don't care how well the system is built corrosion and manufacturing errors happen. I can tell you right now that if I had a water system in my computer, that thing would be cleaned out every time I change the oil in my car.
So do you really wanna spend time cleaning that junk all the time? Flushing, and cleaning the system and checking for small leaks? Up to you... But most of the cpu guru's I know personally won't touch water. If you're that much into modding your CPU then fabricate some alluminum heat sinks and R&D your own stuff.
