URGENT: Help needed.

Hi all.

I'm building a computer for a friend, and i have just one question.

I have an X58 extreme mobo, and

When i went to plug the case buttons in (power, USB, etc) i found that there were no connections on the actual mobo.

Somebody told me they need to be connected straight to the power supply.

Can someone help me out here?

Case connectors go into the motherboard. Naturally.

It's an ASRock X58 extreme.

The manual has a diagram of where the connectors are meant to go, but it looks a bit foreign to me.

Yeah i didn't think they would, i just read that somewhere.

I can't imagine they wouldn't fit, it's a standard case and a standard motherboard.
