Going to buy the GF 8800GT or GTS.

GT = €160

GTS=€200

Wich card will provide the best perfomance for my money?

Are these cards almost equal in perfomance? I'm going to buy one today specificly for Age of Conan. Going to sell my 3850 256mb card.

I play my games on a resolution of 1680x1050.

Do you think its worth it to dish out the €40 extra for the GTS version?

I thought so.

Obvious perfomance improvements at high resolution.

I just noticed the lower section of the bench results.

Seems to perform lower at that test >_>

Both are great cards, but the 8800GTS should give you marginally better performance. That said, the difference probably isn't worth the equivalent of $60 USD.

I hate doing this, but I would suggest that you wait. The new Radeon and Geforce cards are coming out next month and will make mincemeat of what's currently on the market. Fore example, the HD 4870 is supposed to cost $250 USD and be 30% better than the 9800GX2. In a nutshell, you'll really be kicking yourself on the 18th when better cards come out for the same price.
