Guys, the on the top 10 most dissatisfying endings, for Myst, you could notice that Atrus went up and destroyed the books. Hence the huge blackened marks on the pedistals where the books were supposed to be.

I thought so, too - but aren't the books still around in Myst IV? Or did Atrus make new ones?

*Edit* Oh, wait, the ones in Myst IV weren't trap books. Or something. I wasn't really paying attention. :oops:
