hi, i've been playing counter strike source heaps since i bought the sidewinder x6 keyboard, and ive noticed that i can only press 2 keys at once.

I use CS (source) as an example, because i cant crouch, move forward, and reload all at the same time. I can only do 2 of those things at once, the third thing just doesnt function until i let another one go.

Too lazy to try at the moment, but im sure ive noticed it happening in other apps too.

I was wondering if there was a setting or something that could change this issue.

Thanks

Use the following link to download KeyScan, a windows application developed by Digital Genesis. This program will tell you whether or not your key combinations are registering. Almost all keyboards have multiple three-key combinations that will be blocked (you can search key matrix). If it's a hardware issue, then you'll have to move your keys.

haha, thanks, took a photo lol anyway, tried out the program, turns out that W,CTRL, R can't all register at the same time. If i wanna reload while moving silently, i guess i can just use SHIFT (my walk key), since it still registers, i don't wanna need to get used to new key configs.I read all this crap about keyboard 'matrices' and how they send signals blahblah, so i kinda understand why they don't all work together (pretty stupid imo) Thanks for the program and the help :)
