you can do this if your speakers have a composite cable input (red and white) but it will be pretty complicated. you cant just use a composite cable because hdmi and composite are on different channels. you will need a hdmi splitter, 2 hdmi cables and a hdmi to composite converter. bpthomas85

Get one of those, and a female-female 3.5mm jack.
PS3 composite --> converter --> 3.5mm jack --> PC Speakers
Set your PS3 to output using composite instead of HDMI, done. It works fine as I use this method myself.

Then all SicFounder needs to do is run regular composite cable (the red/white RCA cable) from the PS3 to his or her computer speakers.Not that difficult, if you ask me :?ravenguard90
