im getting it on the pc because as long as you have dual core processor 1-2 gigs of ram and and a $150+  card it will always run and look better than the consoles

Not neccisarily now. Since consoles now run genneraly at 1280 x 720, some cards are having a hard time keeping up with consoles.
UT's de facto home is the PC. IMHO, playing it without the mouse and keyboard would feel unnatural , and would probably hurt your performance online if you're used to using the traditional M&K.
Since I have the Unreal Anthology on P.C. I would have to go with buying UT3 on P.C. mainly because I was sold on the GFW march cover story and it really looks kickass.

A controller cant match the accuracy of a gaming keyboard/mouse and tv speakers arent good enough when compared to a gaming headset
What? Most people connect consoles to receivers and an HDTV and they basically blow all these Sound Cards away. I already did my testing in regards to controller or mouse. The only game that I have seen that was optimized to use either is Halo 2 and I can play just fine with either. What I do notice is that the controller is a lot better during close range attacks but in long range the mouse has an advantage since it's so easy to point and click. Also in vehicles the controller is better.

How will anyone know which one is better especially since the game is months away. Both will be the same but it all boils down to if you want to play with a controller or mouse.

well we have to know if your computer is good or not we don't know your specs if you have a great computer then get it on pc if you don't then 360
im going with pc for sure, i have tried to get back to console gaming.. just not the same for me anymore. but if your on border and doesnt matter to you here are some pros and cons.
PC= Better Graphics, Easier Controls if your use to mouse and keyboard,mod support and most likely get high fps
If your pc sucks, then go 360 because you can enjoy the game with a price tag of $350.Â

LoL UT2K4 already had Vo-Ip. Anyway definitely PC version only a total idiot would go for a console version if they have a good enough comp to run it. Why? Well UT is known for MODS and free map/bonus packs from developers, you don't get any of that on xbox, or MS just might make you pay 5-10$ for a bonus pack. So basically you're paying more for a far less of a game with poor control. Ohh and pc games are always cheaper too :) Â

Still the difference is really small.
You misunderstood my point.... A gaming headset is better for pinpointing sounds (which equals to a better fps experience)

I have UT 2004 and know it has voice but I actually never heard anyone say a single word. I never got interested in mods and to tell you the truth I don't think i ever downloaded any for any of the games I have. I don't care much about controls since I can use either just fine. I am not sure if i will get this game if it is anything like the last one. They all seem the same since the first installment.

Halo 2 is the first PC shooter that I have seen optimized to use a mouse or controller. You cannot test it with any other game since none were optimized for a controller. I have a Logitech MX518 mouse and a MS Digital Pro KB.
Yes I was able to jump do a 180 and shoot in the head very easily. A mouse is an easy pointing device where you simply point and click. It doesn't make the controller useless as many make it out to be.Â

Is this even a question? Clearly the PC version will be better than both the 360 an PS3 versions. Even besides that FPS games are always better on the PC.
Three, massive mod communities that is not possible on the 360.. Look at 2004 there a numerous mods that spurned from the game that even won awards from reviewers, such as Alien Swarm.

Why do you even come to the PC forums with remarks like that? All I ever see you do in the PC forums is argue with people. Us PC Gamers 99 percent of the time prefer a mouse and keyboard over a controller for FPS anyday of the week. It's unmatched next to any periphial, hence why FPS was crowned on the PC so long ago.

Who even plays at that resolution? The standard for most people is usually aroudn 1280 X 1040...  1280 X 720 is low imo, I didn't even use that resolution ever with my 6800 GT..
