UT3 PC Specs Released !

This is from Midway and not Epic so take it for what it is worth. Epic has nothing official on their forums.

I got the errors too. I just had to go in and edit the HTML code for it to post properly.

Awesome.I feared that I can't play the game cause it uses Unreal Engine 3.0 and usually UE 3.0 games use SM 3 as minimum requirment.Go Epic...or Midway...Whatever.Go both of you :lol:wackys

ATI Radeon 9600 (minimum required card) is SM 2.0 card , i think. so this one does suport SM 2.0, thouhg there is no gurantee how it will play

Ya, thats really nice, though the min vid card does seem a bit low. I aint complaining, the lower the min specs, the faster it will run on my sweetass rig!

The minimum is pretty low... but i guess it will look like s*** with those specs.dbowman

I am definitely looking forward to this game. Have been a big fan of all of the UT series, and this one looks particularly sweet.

I honestly wouldn't get too excited yet. If Midway really is the publisher and Midway really gave these specs, you can count on them to be a little optimistic.

Publishers have to push copies...the more people with systems that can run the game the more people that will buy the game.

Epic would know requirements far better than Midway.

It doesn't matter, I can still play, but that system requirement is so awesome. I mean nobody expected that much, did they?

Wow I would think the 7600GT cards would be minimum req graphics card, but hey you know when you hear the words "Unreal Tournament" you know where its at. Well it's good to know that my (temporary) X850XT 256mb card can run both Crysis (which looks like Farcry on highest setting and no jaggies) and UT3 on my specs.

Now we gotta see the specs for Call of Duty 4 and if Infinity Wards follows suite then "Wam Bam Thank You Mam" :D

If these are real, then MAJOR props to Epic for the awesome optimization! Man, UT3, CoD4, and maybe Crysis and I'm good to go! :D

This is either some great optimising by Epic or not the final requirements since they just don't seem that demanding to me. But i'm hoping its the former lol

Looking forward to purchasing this game, really hope its like the old UT'99 :D
