running max at 1920*1200 default rendering ad im surprised by my performanc in this game i know its supposed to have lsot of particle effects etc that bring demand on the cpu but im only getting in game 30- 50 fps gets choppy at 30's and being ut3 you really need a nice stable and smooth frame rate anyone else had botherr with performance in this game with similar specs to me and would getting another 2 gig of ram help ( i have a 64 bit os if i do get 4 gig total)

I run UT3 at 60 fps at all max settings with 2 gigs of ram and an 8600. Rather perplexing.

EDIT: My bad, I run it on 1280 x 1024.

1920*1200 on an 8800gt is not recommended...

UT3 is a demanding game, dont expect your 8800gt to perform miracles at such high resolutions... 30-50fps sounds about right, and this is coming from someone who owns a 8800gt and plays on a 1920x1080 screen.

Okay, just be glad that you can run it at such a high res.

And 30-50 fps isn't bad at all.

I have no clue what they are talking about.

See here for more realistic results. The white line is the 8800gt. As you can see, it mostly stays in between 30 and 45.

Play at 1680x1050 for a temporary solution to your frame rate.

one other thing that helps is patch the game.

also on your video card make sure the software tells what to do on A.A etc not video card does it by it's self
