If I buy any 15-pin VGA cable does that mean its also a HD D-dub cable?

I want to use my LCD TV as a monitor and I'm just wondering if there's something specific to look out for.

15-pin D-sub and VGA are the same thing. There is no such thing as an HD VGA cable. HD is just a resolution.
