So... what is it? Twisted14

Also kind of wondering this. Just watched the video. Um... Vice City mod? Maybe? I don't know.

Let's just hope it turns out well. Vice City was easily my favorite last-gen GTA and I'd love a more modern version of it.

It's pretty much Vice City ported onto the Rage Engine i.e uses the same physics and shaders as GTA IV does. Thing is, though, not sure if they have missions in the game since it was ported.

Oh okay. Like the GTA4: San Andreas Project. Which, btw, I tried out. Pretty damn sweet. It's super bare-bones right now, but they do have the entire San Andreas map in the GTA4 engine (with a few major glitches).

Kind of cool, but its just Vice City on the GTAIV engine. No story or anything. If they actually finish, i'll definitely check it out.

I tried it long time ago and they only made available one part of the island.

It's fun for like an hour cos there's not much to do, just drive around...

Yeah it's basically like that. They have also converted the GTA III map in the Rage engine. So now you have Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas playable in the Rage engine

I doubt they'll be able to port the missions, which is a shame. Still a nice mod though.

Yeah, its interesting but I would lose interest if all I could do is screw around. Granted I've played through Vice City like 5 times across PS2, Xbox and PC, but one more time with fantastic RAGE engine gunplay and physics would be totally awesome.

It doesn't help that they even tease snippets from the story.

Yea obviously missions from an old game can't be imported to a new engine by a group of modders.. Anyways gta IV silly lollipop suspension fits very well 80s cars.

It was a cool idea, but from what I know this project has been dead for a while, keeps getting changed from one group to another without actually doing anything only small fixes then abandoning it, it's decent to mess around in I guess.
