Just got a new comp here are specs:

AMD Phenom Six Core

8gb DDR3

AMD Radeon HD 1GB DDR3

My ? is I also havea Nvidia 9800 GT and was wondering which card would be better. With the Radeon right now I am getting 20-30fps playing Rift

So what is a "AMD Radeon HD 1GB DDR3" ? It should have a model number after HD. (as in HD"4870" 1GB DDR3) The only info i can tell by the info you added is that it has DDR3 memory, the later series (HD5xxx/HD6xxx all use GDDR5 memory. Make sure you look into the specification more detailed, the model numer is much more important than the memory.

if you dont know go to www.techpowerup.com and download gpu-z or cpu-z either would be able to give you alot more info

just run "dxdiag" in your start menu and it'll give you your specs

6570? unaware such a card even existed in desktop form.. umm im going to say that its under a 5670 and therefore umm

given the chocie between a 9800gt and the 6570 im going 9800gt
