So, my neighbor is getting a new computer and is offering me his old one... I don't want his whole computer, because it is somehow worse than my clunker in all areas except the video card. His computer has a Radeon x1300 video card, which is I am ASSUMING is better than what I currently have in my PC, which is a Radeon 9550. (Laugh all you want, but I can play my UT04 and HL2 perfectly fine with it.)

Anyways, I'm wondering if I should pull the card out of his computer and stick it in mine... I know that neither of the cards are top end or anything, but I'm just wondering if I'll get better performance, or any at all, from the x1300.

My 9200 played HL2 at max, all settings up. :) Good old card she was.

Yeah, I can still get games like HL2 and Far Cry and Doom 3 to look nice, but my computer would explode with these newer games. But then again, I have no intention to play most, if any of them...

Can anyone help me? :( :P

Basically yes, the X1300 is better than the 9550. HOWEVER, how much is he asking for it? and what resolutions do you play at? what psu do u have? and what slot do you have in the motherboard? oh and what model X1300 is it? (i.e pro, xt?)
