Run? Most games made before 2006 should run on a 128MB graphics card.

So... is that like a 10 dollar video card? I bought a E-vga 256 8600GT from newegg for 80 dollars after mail in rebate... 100 bucks before the mail-in. (still need to fill out the form and send it....)

Also check out Half life 2 if you haven't already played it.

I believe the 7600 gt oc 256mb card would or could be cheap if you are looking for some thing like that.

I had this card at one time and it ran Halo just fine it look great and HL 2 ran nice as well. I really like that card alot until I began to get into games like sc and C&C 3. Wich the card did ok with but I wanted to look great so I bought my self a newer card.

Well , if you arent looking to spend a lot of money get a 8600GT or GTS. Then , you'll basically be able to play any game you want. That card should only be around $100. give or take 20 bucks.

I can't remember the last 128mb PCI-e video card, so it would do you good to verify if you have an AGP or PCI-e motherboard. For AGP, the current best is the Radeon X1950XT, and there should be a new Radeon 3xxx coming soon that supports AGP, but I'm not sure when (I thought I saw a Saphhire 3850 AGP recently, but not in a store).

Ok, what video card do you have now?

Probably the best PCI video card you can get is the Radeon X1550.

If you have PCI slot and you absolutely cannot upgrade, your only option is to buy another PCI card. The problem with that is they are so old and discontinued it's going to be hard to find something that would be a worthy upgrade. Current graphics cards are two generations of technology ahead of what you're using. Newegg has some PCI cards available for sale, but they really won't help your situation much:
