Yea, I know - that's what I am trying to understand. I recall a link to a screen shot and trying to figure out if it was legit. I read so many forums I can't recall now which one it was on but I am pretty sure it was on here. The post said it was demoed at blizzcon as a trial to see what people thought. Might be BS but thought I would see if I could find the post given it was brought up recently by someone in my guild who also had heard about it.

probably bs considering the absurd bandwidth this would need to work, unless it's low quality video.

probably bs considering the absurd bandwidth this would need to work, unless it's low quality video. this. Its fake.. Theres no way blizzard would allow video chat in their game.. just like in all games with video chat, it causes nothing but problems.
WoW doesn't take much bandwidth, so I don't think that's the limitation. But I don't see how it would not block the game screen? Plus I am also pretty sure I don't want to see who I am playing with (and I am SURE they don't want to see me!)...
IF this is for real our clan would totally use it. We have been using ventrilo but video would be great. Wonder if it's coming from them or from blizzard? Keep us posted if you find out more!
terrible idea.. peple would just take pictures of a fatchicks bum or some dog poop and stick it in front of a camera as a way of trolling while being serious :P
i mean like cmon.. all it would do is give even less of an excuse to party with people.. b.net is so bloody insecure its shameful.. blizzard i bet even knows it.. their lucky the probably have passwords on their routers..

Good point. Ok, maybe not such a good idea. Funny I have been playing with people I have never seen or talked to for over three years. Maybe it is better that way...
