I am having some problems watching cinamatics on some of my games, most recently The Last Remanant, Dawn of War 2 and Age of Conan. The game itself runs perfect, but im not sure what the problem is with the movies that i think are being outputted at 1080p.

My current set up is an AMD 3700+, 2 gigs of ram, with a geoforce 8800 GT on windows xp SP3.

Drivers and and everything are up to date.

Im sure the single core isn't helping any but does anyone know a good work around?

Can you give us more details? Are you seeing no video at all? Or is it laggy? Or courrupted?

Can you play the videos outside of the game? Sometimes they can be run in a media player....

The video plays, its just very very laggy. Like it will play, then stop for like 5 seconds, then continue for 3 seconds, then stop for 10 seconds and so on.

If you really are playing 1080i video (1080p is only for BD videos), then the problem is your CPU, which is only running at 2.2GHz.

Either OC it or upgrade it or lower the video resolution for better video playback performance.
