i have a Nvidia 7950GT and it says i have Directx 10...i thought that was for only the new cards

i took a screenshot take a look

Thats not your video card DirectX version, its what the Operating System is running, just like installing DirectX 9.0c on XP with a GeForce4 Ti4400 graphics card which is only DX8.1, I't will run with whatever DX you put on but wont display all of the features of the newer DirectX version
