videogame to learn to drive?

Hello guys, basically the title. Any game/simulator to help me to learn driving (rules, etc.) or at least a very realistic racing game. I just got a wheel for my PC.

I know you aren't gonna want to hear this but getting out on the road is the only way to learn, coming from personal experience. This is simply because a lot of driving involves more than turning the wheel (i.e, awareness of the sides through use of mirrors or physically turning your head to the sides).

no racing game will really help you to learn how to drive well, what whiteblade said, driving involves more than just just turning a wheel

I don't think the guy is trying to fully learn to drive in a game he just wants something to do on the side? scotty992

Learn to drive? If its just regular driving than just sneak out your ma/pa's car at night and have a stroll. Its pretty easy really.

So difference between game and drive

Dirt 2 is the closest game to what i've experienced driving. The handling is about the same. But seriously the only game i can think of where you still need to obey the rules of the road are the mafia series. I know 1 does it idk about 2.
