I think that Vietnam was so damaging to the American psyche that people just want to put it behind them.  While as WWII will always be remembered as the "good" war, Vietnam wasn't really justified.  Some of the worst atrocities of the 20th century occured during this period (agent Orange, napalm, and other chemical warfare).

well you could go back a few and play Vietcong. it was pretty good. i never got to finish it. i really need to. RubixQb
