What I hate about Vista is that when you're following a tutorial for something, it's never for Vista. Always XP. Some programs aren't avaliable for Vista, and if they are, they're slightly diffrent than the one you're really looking for. For example, the programs I'd use for modding Halo 2 maps (only on Xlink Kai, ofcourse =D) need .NET framework 2.0 and therefore won't work on Vista because it has 3.0 built in.Vista actually has higher system requirement, which makes me wonder how it is a better operating system if it needs more resources to run. Wouldn't anything run better and faster if it has more hardware power?

Not if you raise the bar for the minimum, which sometimes barely can cut it, all depending on exact hardware settings of course.Â

DOS has lower system requiremenst and runs faster than XP. Does that make it the better OS?
