Vista and Anti-Virus

HI,

I've had Vista for less than a month now and just 2 days ago Vista stopped recognizing my AVG Anti-Virus.  Also Windows Defender is always turned off when I try to turn it on it syas Looking For Definitions, and says No Definitions were found and its still off.  I tried uninstalling AVG and rebooting than re installing it but no luck.  DId all updates with it too.  I'm relli frustrated can someone please help?

Unlike Nvidia, most of the antivirus venders ( AVG, Avast, ect. ) went ahead and did what was necessary for their product to work with Vista.Raven55

hehe, albeit the teeny tiniest fact that they were, oh say....... 4 months late!!! nonetheless good thing otherwise they'd hear more from nvidiaclassaction.org heheehhejfelisario

Wow thanks for the replys im gonna try Avast right now see how that works.

Edit: WOOOT!  Did all updates Recognizes it and works great THANKS ALOT!  Now I just need help with Windows Defender?  When I press Turn it on it says Searching For Defs and doesnt find any than shuts down and keeps saying Turn on Now.
