Hi guys I am getting a laptop, which comes with Windows Vista. Now, there are probably only two games I will be putting on it, these are Rome Total War, and Brothers In Arms: Road To Hill 30. I want to know if these will play OK on Vista? I have read in some places that Vista is bad for gaming, but I have also read that it is fine.

Can anyone help? Thank you very much.

Vista is fine for most games. You need to make sure you have a decent amount of RAM (2 gb) before you get vista because it eats about 600mb when running pretty much no programs.

Yeah I have 3GB of RAM so I am guessing that's more than enough then!

Vista has been out for awhile, and with all the updates and SP's that are out, I would imagine its fine by now for gaming.

I think its perfectly fine to be honest as long as you have ram in the region of 3-4GB.
