I was playing Crysis normally today, and all of a sudden the game freezes and crashes. This has happened before and all I usually have to do is reboot the game. I tried and tried but I kept getting APP crashes. Next I tried Company of Heroes, and it kept crashing. Next I tried the demo of GRID, which worked, but after I quit a blue screen came up and my computer restarted itself. Has vista gone screwy, or maybe a virus? Help appreciated

Rollback your graphics driver or uninstall it and install it again. See if your gfx card is overheating.

It prob has nothing to do with your OS.

Try fiddling with your graphic drivers and such.

You OC'd? Check you GPU temps. Any artifacts or tearing prior to freeze? Have you thought about doing a system restore to a prior time when it worked? But, it shouldn't be freezing at all, even though you said it happens frequently.

No, I haven't Over Clocked my GPU, and usually the games don't freeze, just rarely Crysis might crash at start off, then work normally next time
